Handfastings -
Your day, your way!
Rev. Roger
Hyttinen
Nondenominational Ordained Minister
|
This is your day!
A Handfasting is a Celtic equivalent of a traditional wedding, except that some religious traditions assign it a length of a year and a day. However it can be made legal if the person officiating (Priestess, Priest, minister) are registered as clergy with the local authorities.
If you and your future bride or groom wish to make plans for a Handfasting ceremony or incorporate Celtic elements of a Handfasting ceremony into a legally binding wedding ceremony, contact me via telephone or email to set up a free consultation.
The fee schedule and consultation will be similar to those of a traditional wedding.
As a receipt for booking a date, couples receive my "Wedding Packet", which includes a Wedding Agreement, my "Processional, Ceremony and Recessional Staging worksheet (seating, entrance, exit, who stand where, etc.), "The Wedding Party" worksheet (lists duties for each member of the wedding party) and over 50 pages of sample ceremony parts.

Your Wedding/Handfasting day is a
celebration of your love and deep commitment to each other. I do
everything possible to ensure your personal wishes are respected and
celebrated.
Call me at
414-550-2466 or email me
to see if your date is open on my calendar and to set up an
initial free consultation. I will ask a few questions and if you live
in the area, I will arrange a meeting with you at a nearby location if
the date and time is still open. At this meeting we will discuss your
ceremony and begin the process of customizing the ritual to fit your
unique needs.
